These were my original choice for wheels, but they are to expensive for me. Not to say they are expensive they run from 1500 to 2000 depending on size. Still the best looking wheel ever made.

They're seriously the best looking thing I've ever seen wrapped by a tire. I want a set in gold for my Z. But as you said, run around 2k.

Gram Lights 57xtremes. These look like 18x9.5, which is about 2k. You can get 17x9 for about 1500. They aren't cheap but they aren't stupid expensive either.

What size are you looking at? Cause at most it is 2k.

Despite having rebuilt my EJ, choosing turbos, engine internals and fuel delivery systems, wheels are the most daunting thing to me in terms of making sure I'm putting my money where I want it. I'm on my stock alloys now, because I'm honestly too intimidated to try to learn all ins and outs.

Kinda makes me want to put tsp6's on my wrx hatch and call it a day

Find out what fits and look for wheels in that size! It is super easy. Try and get wheels of similar diameter to the stock wheels cause the larger the diameter the slower it makes you.

Oh, I have never dealt with 19s, but they are around 600 bucks for a wheel so about 2400 dollars. I would say get some 18inch Rotas! They look good and are under a grand.

They sure look amazing. The only issue is the Nismo has the big brake kit, and only some 18"s fit the large caliper and disc. :/ And i can't really order and say no thanks it doesn't fit.

ouch it'd be $430 per wheel for me... before shipping, tax, installation and tires...

Yeah there isn't much in the cheaper market for 19s. Rotas only make a few 19 inch wheels, and I think Rota is a pretty good cheap wheel. You could try Enkei, they make some nice wheels in your bolt pattern and in 19s as well!

I was thinking about Rota's for my Z, but they have a terrible street record, and I don't want to NEED to avoid every pot hole. Ill still avoid them, but I don't neeeedd to with other wheels. If I could have any wheel, it'd be TE37's as I've said before, but gonna end up going with Enkei RPF1's

Agreed, and your post got me looking at choices too. Another set of wheels isn't a priority, I have many other things I would rather fix/ throw on... But it is always fun to shop.

I would read up a bit on Rotas. They aren't as bad as people make them out to be. For example all these cars use Rotas , and the last one hit a pothole at 70mph! People like to post a picture of a broken wheel and then call them Rotas. This was an HRE

Also, in 2003 there was a problem in their wheels(Attacks, I think) when they tried to lighten it but it ended up causing the spokes to be weaker. They ended up recalling them and replacing all the wheels!

Also, read this:

The bolt pattern is the same as the Sable's. 5x108.

Yup, I am surprised that a Japanese wheel company makes these wheels in that pattern.

Saying they are used on race cars doesnt proove anything really. Race tracks aren't as bad as roads, they're actually maintained, however I can see them being decent wheels..also, they don't make grid's in the size's I want it doesnt seem

Considering that those are time attack cars, the cornering G's put on the wheel and tire are pretty substantial, something that will never be achieved on the street! Also, at 100mph+ a bump is much more substantial than at 30 or 40mph!

Indeed on the bump for sure...from what it looks, I can't tell if Rota makes anything in 10.5 wide, lol
